Personalized Bamboo Wood Cutting Board

These beautiful two tone bamboo cutting boards are a beautiful, functional, ecologically sound addition to any kitchen or bar. Bamboo is harder than maple and makes an excellent cutting surface. The hard surface means fewer nicks and slices that harbor bacteria. We use only Moso bamboo which is neither a food source nor a habitat for Giant Pandas. The cutting boards are assembled with food-grade glue and the rich brown color is achieved by pressure steaming to carbonize the bamboo so it will never wash out or fade. The bamboo engraves beautifully to make a truly memorable gift. The cutting board measures 14-1/4" x 8" x 7/8" overall. The laser cuts up to three lines of text into the wood in your choice of six different fonts we know engrave well. We normally engrave the first line of text a little larger for emphasis. Bamboo cutting boards are easy to maintain and make a great gift for many occasions.

The standard* engraving area on the cutting board is 7" x 2". You just select the layout, the fonts of your choice from drop down menus then type in your text into the text boxes on the page; for a small additional charge you can choose to have us send you a digital proof before your item is engraved.

• Solid Construction - these beautiful bamboo are made from laminated natural bamboo. When laser engraved the light colored bamboo wood turns a beautiful pale brown to highlight the engraved text. The cutting board has a carry handle build into the top of the board. We rub the board with oil after engraving to protect the wood.

• Flexible message - we can engrave your cutting board with up to three lines of text at the bottom of the cutting board.  Just select your text fonts using drop down menus, type your message text into the text boxes and we'll do the rest.  We normally engrave the first line of text a little larger for emphasis. We can also engrave the reverse side of the cutting board with the same text for an additional $3 charge or we can engrave a completely different message for an additional $5 charge.*

• Delivery to meet your schedule - standard production for orders of up to cutting boards is normally from 1 to 7 working days from receipt of your order except for the holiday season from November 15 through December 31 when standard production goes up to 1 to 10 working days to accommodate our surge of holiday orders.
